Brick-and-mortar schools, for better or for worse, do a very good job at creating social situations where people can interact with new people and new ideas. The biggest mistake of online schools is failing to realize that the greatest resource for education is not textbooks but fellow students.

When students leave school, after all, they will be interacting with other people, not textbooks.
