in order to avoid a fashion faux pas, you best enlist in the advice of a style expert!!! Amy Gordon gives great advice, including this particular statement about waring bags proportionate to your body size! Many women are aware that proportions are very important in fashion for clothes, but did you know they are also important for handbags? The proper bag can actually make you look THINNER! Ok, so now that I have everyone’s attention let’s discuss this burning topic. We are going to run down a list of handbags do’s and don’ts for you....First, let’s talk about shape. If you are broad woman, that doesn’t necessarily mean fat, you want to think about longer shaped bags. The longer bag will create a longer illusion on the body, balancing outSlouchy Velvet Bag your width. The Velvet Slouchy Bag By Deux Lux is a perfect example of a longer (rather than wider) bag, or a north/south handbag. You could even do something a little more narrow.

Ladies, I am truly sorry if I rained on your parade. I know that you thought handbags one of the few items that fit everybody. However, you still have plenty of options. Next time you shop for a handbag, keep these things in mind. Certainly we are not telling that you can never stray from these rules, they are simply the ideal options.

I am a big fan of flip flops but I do understand where you're coming from. There are flip flops that can be dressed up and when the weather is right, I wouldn't hold back no matter what your age when you’re dressing casual. When you're truly dressing up in a dress or whatever, there are plenty of other (even comfortable!) options and flip flops should be left at home, again no matter what your age is!

I have no problem with plaid if it's with neutral colors and it's not for out on the town. You don't need to avoid it all together but instead try a nice simple polo or plain button up shirt, I think you'll find those to be just as comfortable and your girl will think you look quite dapper.

what about a grown woman wearing Flip Flops with a dress, now I could see if she were at the Beach , on a cruise ship, but just out and about, I don't know, maybe it just depends on the Flip Flop, the location, and time.

I'm always scared I won't be able to stop at 15 feet! Other than that I LOVE scuba diving and I hope to do it more!
